We will release our new single (+ video) ‘My Enemy’ by the end of JUNE.
Expect one of the heaviest tracks we’ve ever recorded!

We’ll record the video in the next few weeks. We’ve been working really hard on a new 7 song EP, which will be released this September on Pummel Records.

After an extensive audition – covering applications from over 25 talented musicians – we are pleased to inform you that we found the new man behind the kit! His name is Roel van Helden. He used to play in a band called Sun Caged and is currently involved in Up The Irons (Iron Maiden Tribute) a.o.
We will start rehearsing with Roel a.s.a.p. and will be recording guitars for the new record next week.We can’t wait to hit the stage again, with a new drummer and new songs. Stay tuned for more info soon!

De drumpartijen voor de nieuwe My Favorite Scar release zijn inmiddels ingespeeld door goede vriend en drumbeest Koen Herfst (I Chaos / Dew Scented / Armin van Buuren).

Koen is echter ook een veelgevraagd muzikant en daarom zijn we op zoek naar een permanente slagwerker met de juiste instelling (on & off stage), stage presence en skills. Binnenkort gaan we audities plannen voor de nieuwe man achter de kit.

My Favorite Scar and drummer Stephen van Haestregt have parted ways. Stephen has been a member of My Favorite Scar from the very beginning, and played on the band’s debut in 2010. The album debuted in Dutch national charts at #29.

My Favorite Scar with Stephen toured Europe with Alter Bridge, played shows with Kiss, Megadeth & Disturbed and festivals such as Lowlands and headlined the kRock festival in Ukraine last August.

My Favorite Scar are ready to embark on a new chapter as they are working on their 2nd release, which is due winter 2013 and recording will follow shortly. The band will start looking for a new drummer. Stephen will continue his work as a drummer and producer at Swampmusicstudio.
